Term 3

International Week - We went to the Hall to see all of the work that the other children have been doing this week.

We looked at the work that the other classes had done. And found out some information about the different continents We liked seeing all of our work on display

International Week - We have been finding out about Australian Animals and painting them

Phonics - we have been practising the 'oa' sound

We have been practising writing our HFWs

Helicopter Stories - we have had great fun making up our own stories and acting them out.

Phonics - We have been practising writing sentences with words containing the 'oo' and 'ow' sounds.

This term we have been dressing up as pirates and making up our own pirate names. What a fearsome bunch!!

Chinese New Year - We made Lanterns and Balloons

We made some Chinese balloons We used lots of red and gold because these are the colours you see at Chinese New Year We also made Chinese Lanterns It was tricky cutting the sides carefully

In RE we have been role playing the Christmas Story

This term we have been exploring different ways of representing numbers
