RE
Today we took part in an activity called 'On the move'. We became a refugee family on their journey to safety, having to make decisions on what they were to leave behind. It was a very thought provoking experience, making us think about the difficult decisions refugees had to make whilst trying to find safety.
During our RE lesson today, some of us chose to work in groups to show the story of Pentecost through Freeze Frames.
Caroline came to visit us today and talked to us about Christian Meditation. We created our own Maranatha mats to use during our own daily meditation sessions.
There were lots of amazing entries for the Easter competition this year. All of you put so much effort in to your creations, we are very proud of you! Well done to Julia, Eva and Jasmine for coming first place in each of the categories and thank you to The Friends of St Bernadette for providing the prizes!
We created stained glass window effect Christmas Cards focussing on the Advent Wreath.
To mark the start of Advent we created 3D stars to show what we were hoping and wishing for. We were also given the choice to add a prayer. We think they look lovely in our Prayer area.
