Children from Years 4, 5 and 6 spent a splendid day at Emmaus House in Whitchurch exploring the complex subject of Biodiversity. They learned about eco systems, organic farming, ocean pollution and the number of animals and plants that have become extinct across the world. The day ended with them reflecting on how they could do their part to look after our planet
Year 6 Trip Mendip Thursday 1st July 2021
Children from Year 4, 5, and 6 had a fantastic day at Emmaus House, a retreat in Whitchurch. They were exploring LAUDATE SI - the writings of Pope Francis on climate change. Activities included art, a greenhouse gas relay and building a miniature garden.
