Alternatively, most local supermarkets sell the correct coloured uniform items. Please make
sure you do not leave buying uniforms until the last few days of the summer holidays as it can
be unavailable.

We also have lots of good quality secondhand uniforms which are donated throughout the
year. Please ask Miss Campbell in the office if you would like any.

Jewellery:
For health & safety reasons, no jewellery should be worn, including friendship bracelets.
Children are allowed to wear a watch (no smart or games watches) and small stud earrings.
Not exceeding 3 mm.
All jewellery remains the responsibility of the child.

Hair, Make-up and Cosmetics:

• Make-up and cosmetics, including nail varnish and temporary tattoos, are not
• considered appropriate or consistent with our school uniform. The school does not
• permit such products to be worn by any children unless there is a specific event for
• which the Headteacher has given permission.
• Shoes: Black school shoes should be worn. Appropriate sandals may be worn in the
• summer. Boots may be worn in the winter. High-heeled shoes are inappropriate and not permitted.

P.E Kit

• Children can wear their PE kits to school on the days of their PE sessions.
• Plain white PE T-shirt.
• Black or Navy PE shorts or plain navy/black jogging bottoms.
• Shorts are required for gym sessions.
• Sensible trainers.
• School sweatshirt, cardigan.

• PE will continue outdoors through the autumn and winter seasons (weather
permitting), children should have an additional blue/black/navy fleece to wear in
addition to their school jumper/cardigan/sweatshirt - not instead of.

Inappropriate kit, especially footwear, is a health and safety issue and your child may not
be able to participate in PE activities without it. Long hair must always be tied back for
health and safety reasons. Stud earrings only!

For Swimming PE lessons children need:

• Plain coloured swimsuit/costume (no bikinis or tankinis). Plain coloured above the knee swim shorts unless religious swimwear is to be worn
• Goggles and a hat, if desired.
• Children may wear their PE kit to school on swimming days to speed up getting dressed and undressed before and after the lesson.

NAME/LABEL
Please ensure your child’s name is on all items of clothing to prevent loss of uniform
or confusion in a class of 30 or more children.
