Daily routine

Mornings

 

Our gates open from 8:45 for a staggered start. Children should be at school by no later than 9:00am.

Our staggered start allows time for children to settle and for parent/teacher communication. 

 

9:00am - Registration/ prayers/ English Whole class

9:20am - Group work: these are activities that are planned around our topic theme. Some are adult led                 and others will be child led.

9:30am - Choosing time: this is child led and involves being both indoors and outdoors

10:00am - Maths Whole class

10:15am - Snack time/ Numberblocks / assembly

10:30am - PE or outdoor playtime

11:00am - Phonics 

11:45am - Getting ready for lunch/ Alphablocks

12:00am - Lunchtime

 

Afternoons

 

1:00pm - Registration/ meditation

1:10pm - Afternoon subject whole class (RE, Music, PSHE, Topic, Art and Design)

1:30pm - Choosing time

2:15pm - Guided reading

2:30pm - Outdoor playtime

2:45pm - Story/prayers

3:00pm - Home time
